Just read your blog on Shadow Animals. I would not call what I observed a shadow animal as it did not have the dark characteristics of a shadow person. Again I would not put this in the definition of a shadow thing as it had distinct features and a pattern.

I have seen a shadow animal several times in connection with activity in my home, with witnesses. The one I witnessed was later described exactly the same way by another witness and appeared like a medium sized cat like creature. It could be seen full on and had markings that were unremarkable to what might be described as calico but without color. It was just varying shades of grey. Light to darker where you would ordinarily see color. I witnessed this on numerous occasions again in full sight. I even seen it once coming toward me from my bedroom while I was in my living room and then it made a sharp left turn into the bathroom. Oddly I had seperated laundry and it was piled on the floor just outside the bathroom door. This creature actually jumped over it much as a cat would jump over something. It might be considered only slightly fast than a normal cat running through your home. Again these sightings were associated with ongoing and very negative activity that I am not prepared to discuss in detail but did include shadow figures, black mass shadow figures and small three feet hunched over creatures. Also objects thrown, etc, etc. etc, lol. Near as I can tell these creatures are minions and not animals. Hope this helps.

In 1973 - 1974 I was living in a small home in Pasadena, California. It was a rental, and my new husband and I loved the freedom from an apartment complex. The floors were polished wood and it was probably built in the late 1940s. Because I frequently had to dust mop the floors, I would sweep behind chairs and small tables. Often small black "shapes" skirted from the back of the furniture, scuttling along the baseboards to a corner or another unseen area. Were they mice? I don't think so, they were larger than rats and we owned two indoor cats. My impression, because I could not look directly at them, only from a peripheral view, was that they were a combination of cat and small spirit. I can best describe them as gremlin-like. Never did I feel menaced, but always perplexed as to what I had seen.

Since that home, I have not seen shadow animals in my house. Occasionally I see them as my husband and I travel. Most recently, I noticed one in the lobby of Oregon Cave's Chateau, in October 2009. Actually, this is the first website I have encountered to address this experience.

Hello,

I searched the internet this morning for anything to do with animal ghosts. Why? Because last night as I sat in the living room relaxing in the reclining chair, I saw a black shape about a foot off the floor and crazy as it sounds it was in the shape of a cat. I do not have any cats only two standard poodles. This shape walk along the couch as though it was rubbing itself. I froze in my chair as the shape turned and started toward me, it disappeared as it got about 2 foot away from me. Then I felt its weight on my legs it curled up and laid on my legs, I could feel the weight on me as it formed a circle. I know this sounds mean but I was scared so I fliped the afgan I had on my legs, up and heard a thump on the floor and no longer felt the weight. Is this a ghost cat? should I do anything about this?

(Editor's advice: This is an unusual expereince for a shadow animal. I did ask if they had a recently deceased pet and suggested that if they didn't want the cat there, to tell it to leave).

The response: The only thing that we can think of that might be the cause of the "cat visitor" was; we had a stray cat coming around once in a while and I would give it some food. We recently found that stray cat dead along the road at the foot of our driveway and my husband took the body and buried it in our back yard.

This weekend me and my 2 friends decided to walk to gardener lake in CT. We heard about the infamous piano coming from the bottom of the lake story and decided to check it out. This was our first time looking for something paranormal, we walked there at 9pm and didn't experience anything interesting (though my friend may have heard 3 keys played) so we began to walk back on old Colchester Rd. It was now about 10:30 and we had a flashlight walking down this road, me and both of my friends are 16 and not easily scared at all. It was very loud with all the sounds of night (i.e. crickets, winds ect.) when it got completely silent, so silent it was almost deafening, which one of my friends pointed out afterword. My other friend also pointed out that we detected a strong scent of roses or some other flower at that time.

I looked to my right hand side when I heard a rustling in the grass. I saw something a could barely explain, it looked like a cheetah, though now I think it is more like a bobcat now that I've seen a picture of one. One of its paws was extended inches from my legs. I stared it right in the eyes, but they weren't there. Its face was completely blurred out and just as quickly as a saw it, it disappeared. When i saw it I let out an yell. It was weird to say the least.

I described what I saw to my friends (they were oh so conveniently looking 2 other ways at the split second). My yell almost single handedly convinced them, but I was just a little shaken, not scared like I expected myself to be. We returned back to my friends house at 11:00 pm on the dot. I went on my laptop, i looked for "animal demon" then when there was no good result, i tried "cheetah demon" then after a few different mixes of words I got to "shadow animals" and this sight explained almost perfectly my experience. This stuff is real lol

And for the record, before today I didn't even believe in anything like souls or afterlife...

About an hour ago I saw what appeared to be a shadow animal. It was a cat sized black mist, lacking any secondary characteristics (i.e. no tail, legs, facial features, etc.) but I distinctly thought "cat" when I saw it. In fact, at first I thought it was my cat, but at that same instant I noticed she was sitting about 10 - 12 feet away. I saw this smoke animal between the refrigerator and the cabinet in my kitchen. It was fleeing behind the refrigerator and I got a strong feeling that it didn't want me to see it - that it was a bit frightened. It did not appear malignant or evil in any sense and it didn't frighten me.

The only other 'paranormal' activity I have ever experienced in this house is the occasional smell of cigarette smoke when no smoker is there. Oddly enough, it's always in the same area as where I saw the shadow animal.

I wonder if you would be interested in my experience of a shadow cat? I was alone in the house (except for my two real cats who were sleeping in another part of the room). It was afternoon, and a sunny day outside. I was in the living room facing the front windows, which had the Venetian blinds closed against the sun. There were four joined windows with a shelf about eight inches wide just under them, stretching about ten feet across the front of the house. As the garage was under the windows, it was about a 25 foot drop to the ground, and the outside ledge was very narrow, less than an inch, and quite far from the ground. There were no tree branches or anything else nearby.

As I was sitting there, I saw a cat — just a shadow of a cat — cross in front of the windows from left to right as if it were walking on the shelf and then disappear. It was the size and form of an adult cat. It did not disturb me other than to wonder what the heck it was.

The house was built in 1909, and my young cat seemed to be sensitive to something in the house, as he was frequently spooked at nothing (nothing the rest of us could see anyway). I never felt anything menacing in the house although I did sometimes think I saw something out of the corner of my eye. A psychic friend said he saw a shadowy lady once, just for an instant before she disappeared.

I do not know what it was, but I didn’t imagine it. I did not sense any malice. Are shadow animals always negative?

White Shadow Animal Sitings 2

I've seen white animal creatures too. The first time I saw three large animals crossing in the fields ahead of me just about to go across the road when I went down a hill and lost site of them for a second. When I got to where they would have crossed in front of me there was no sign of them anywhere in the fields. They were running but I would have caught a glimpse of them for sure. I thought they were white large dogs running together, they glowed and shimmered in the sunshine. But after thinking about it they moved just like tigers on a hunt. My son and I have seen a small white creature walking around on the floor just like a house cat does, we don't have any cats.

Living Cat vs. Shadow Cat

So I'm a little freaked out. I have two cats,one of which I was holding. I saw and heard a black cat streak toward and past me on my left side. The cat I was holding looked down and hissed at it. I thought at first that it was my other cat,but she wasn't even inside the house at the time. I have no explanation. And I didn't see it out of my periphery either. It was pretty much almost dead on that I saw it,but it was running so fast that I couldn't see it's features. I would chalk this up as my mind playing tricks on me,but my cat clearly saw it too. I don't know what else to do except pray,and rebuke the devil and unwanted spirits from my home. I don't like seeing these kind of things,although it's not the first time.

My story happened quite a few years ago now, but it has always bothered me and I wanted to share it with someone. I'm not 100 percent sure it was a "shadow animal" but seems to fit.

My cousin had come up for a visit and whenever she visits she and I both stay at my grandma's house. We were getting ready for bed, which meant we were getting ready to pull the couch out.

My attention was drawn to the door of the basement room and I saw what looked like a shadow of a black panther slinking towards us. When it got close enough it seemed to pounce and it was all in my aura and face, it kind of overwhelmed me. I closed my eyes and looked away and when I opened my eyes again everything seemed normal. I looked over at my cousin, not sure if she perceived the same thing as me or not. I started to ask if she had seen what I had just seen, but before I could finish she said yeah and looked away. At the moment I felt stupid saying that it looked like a black panther so I described it to her as a large black cat of some kind, and she said yeah, like a black panther. It was a strange experience, I didn't feel an overwhelming sense of fear, thankfully, but it was very strange, and neither of us know what to make of it. If I had been alone and saw that I probably would have discounted it as an hallucination, but since I was with another person who experienced the same thing, it was harder to discount. Any feedback you could give me, or insight as to what that was would be appreciated.

Just wanted to share something ,yesterday Thursday may 9th at about 9:45am something wierd happened

I was sleeping and my cat Felix was on the bed with me at my feet sleeping,This is pretty much a ritual,he comes on the bed when I am alone and sleeps with me as well.

Anyways I got up at 9 :40 am I looked at my clock radio on my dresser,Felix was still sleeping on the bed at my feet ,in his usual curled up position.

I went to washroom to brush my teeth and I was looking in the bathroom mirror as I was brushing my teeth,when in the back of me I saw Felix walking in ,I was surprised that he got up, So I continued brushing my teeth,and i started talking to Felix ,saying to him that he should be sleeping,and that he is so curious etc etc.

I turned around and what really freaked me out ,is that there was no Felix!

I went immediately to the bedroom,and saw him still sleeping in the same curled position, i left him a few minutes earlier.

This was really strange, it has happened before ,,to me whilw watching tv or while working on my pc in my den.,This time ,I ACTUALLY GOT A GLIMPSE OF HIM! it was so real, that I saw Felix walk in to the bathroom But he was not there at all.

Sometimes while in bed trying to fall asleep while listening to my radio ,i am awakened by my cat pouncing on the bed ,,I look and no cat..

Questions on Animal Afterlife

I just got done reading a little more about others' experiences with shadow people and animals. To be fair and honest our house was built new in the 70's and we have been the only family to live in it. I also live right across the street from a river (I hear water attracts spirits). Before our house was built, it used to be a vineyard. Growing up in this house I never really thought twice about small strange occurrences every once in a great while, but two nights ago I was laying awake sometime between 3 and 4 AM and my eyes were opened in the mostly darkened room (except for very small lights from like a computer button or cell phone charger) and all of a sudden I just see shadow figure after shadow figure pop up! I was laying facing my fiance and I SWEAR I thought I saw a cat on him! I saw it's body and tail and so I reached out to touch it and I felt nothing! Then it would reappear again after I tried to touch it. Next I saw a tall shadow man rise out of the floor at the foot of the bed in front of my fiance. I think I may have seen this same shadow man once, a long time back when I was about 12 years old when I used to sleep with my bedroom door open and I had seen this shadow man appear in the doorway like he was looking at me. By far the strangest experience was that one two nights ago with all the shadows everywhere in my bedroom. I was only a little scared, but pulled the covers over my head to ignore them (and I'm 27 years old!) and it helped me feel better. I am just curious to know that if perhaps we've been wrong in saying that animals don't have souls or spirits because many people have seen shadow animals and live animals have been known to see or feel the presence of paranormal beings. One last note that I'd like to add is that we do own a lot of cats (many that have died in or around the house over the years) and I know that the shadow cat was not one of our LIVE cats because I couldn't feel it! Any thoughts?

New House and New House Pet

I just moved in to a new home.

A visitor told me she saw a shadow run past her. The shadow was low to the ground.

One time I saw something low to the ground, black in color, race past me. My first thought was it was a flasher in my eye or perhaps a mouse.

I saw it again in the very same area.

Tonight I saw it for the third time, same area, same thing.

It was like a shadow cat or small dog running past my bedroom towards the stairs.

At this point I had to call my daughter's friend who had also witnessed something.

To my surprise she described the exact same thing in the exact manner I did and gave me the exact description!

My daughter told me the very same thing!

Neither one of us felt anything negative or bad energy.

We will keep an eye out and get back to you.

Shadow Animal Sighting

I have animal shadow sightings as well as shadow people sightings. The animals are large. There are 2 of them. The look somewhat like lions or tigers laying there towards each other. They usually are on the ceiling where the people are on the floor or walls. They stay away from the people for some reason. They don't leave a neg energy like the people do. I do here a fly buzz every once in awhile, but there's no fly. I wonder if that them? Anyways, I have been dealing w these shadow people for 4 months now. Grrrrrr. Any suggestions on how to get rid of them please let me know. I really think they are an evil force. I could tell u so many stories. But yeah the animals don't mess w me.

A friend and myself a few years back had a few very scary encounters with shadow people attacking us im not sure about this a nd would love your opinion i was going thru my phone pics to post a new pic to fb i found 3 photos on my phone that i accidently took a few nights ago while using my phone for light.there is three diff.images of a catlike face with the eyes and mouth or snout are just black holes i cant fig.out what it could be and nobody i live with can either.we dont have any stuffed animals and the people i stay with does have a cat but is locked in the bathroom at night and we sleep in the attic.and the eyes are not glowing.i wil send u the photos today im not sure how to

"Not Elizabeth in Kentucky"

I would like to talk about a shadow animal sighting which has had me spooked for years. I was going through a transitional time in my life and had misgivings about the changes. I had just moved to a large farm and the land surrounding the house is wide open. I was sitting out on the deck alone about 9 at night. It was completely dark all around me except for a security light which cast a bright silver glow on the gravel driveway about 15 feet from where I was sitting. Out of the field came a black shape. I immediately thought "deer," as it was the size and shape of a huge deer, and was literally bounding along exactly like a deer moving fast. It passed under the security light and I expected it to look brown-but it was black. It came from a grassy area-I did not hear its hoofbeats-but when it hit the gravel, I SHOULD have heard its hooves hitting the ground, but it was silent. It crossed about 20 feet of gravel, 15 feet away from me, and was SILENT. It hit grass again and kept running-no sound. Here is the kicker-at the edge of the property there is a huge drainage ditch filled with vegetation and water at the bottom, about 15 feet deep. I waited to hear the deer go down into that ditch and out the other side-nothing. If he had jumped the ditch, I would have heard his hooves on the gravel road on the far side of the ditch-but it was completely silent. It was there, and then it was gone.

The deer was not my first shadow animal sighting-I was visiting a Sunday School class, which was being taught by my mother, and a black cat walked out from under my chair. It just strolled out about 6 feet and then disappeared. No one else reacted.

The reason these sightings startled me so badly is that when I was a girl of 16, I had a friend who claimed he was Daniel Boone reincarnated. This guy was a genius and had the idiosyncracies of some incredibly intelligent people. Most people just chalked his peculiar behavior up to him being bizarre. BUT, he claimed that I was his sister (Daniel Boone's sister Elizabeth) and that there was a curse placed on the Boone family by Native Americans. He claimed that there was a "Black Shape" who visited him, chased him, and even wrestled with him, who was an Indian. He warned me to watch out for the "Black Shape." I can't tell you the nights I laid awake, terrified that the Black Shape was out there and meant me harm.

When I experienced these shadow animals I thought about the Black Shape and the supposed curse placed on the Daniel Boone family. I never had any sense of being reincarnated or gave much credibility to my friend's claim-BUT-what he said terrified me at the time. Finding your website reassures me that I was not hallucinating, not crazy, and not the only person to see shadow animals. Its a relief considering what my friend told me all those years ago. I had wondered if they were related and trying to tell me something:)

Hi, seen your link while looking up my experience. So myself and my family have all experienced a very weird moment.. yesterday evening maybe around 7pm a black cat walked by all of us outside on my deck and into the home through the open patio door.. the black cat went downstairs where we followed it only to find that it disappeared.. I own a cat and a dog. My dog is a doberman, me and her went downstairs after it but she didnt find her either.. she quickly lost interest, it was as if my dog just came downstairs to follow me and not to chase that black cat.. which I found to be very strange because normally my dog would of chased down another animal entering the house.. anyway the whole experience was very weird for all of us.. I was just wondering if you had any insight.. we all saw it.. myself.. my mother, step father, and younger sister.

Editor's response: I'm afraid that there isn't enough information with this. There are a couple of points, however, that I can make: 1) It is rare for more than one person, possibly two, to see a shadow animal. It's rare for an entire group to see a ghost as well. The whole family seeing something indicates that it was a natural being. 2) The family dog not reacting is very odd. In nearly all stories of ghosts or shadow figures, animals act out. No reaction is incredibly odd.

Have you checked the area where the sighting happened? Is there a way for an animal to get out? Rats are remarkably flexible, fast, and able to "vanish" via the smallest of exits. If possible, let me know if it happens again and what you find in that area.

Submitter's response: I searched the entire home. After I followed It downstairs.. and it was a large black cat.. like quite large.. it just disappeared.. lol. We are all looking for an explanation for it still.. it was a very wierd experience..

The other night we were sitting outside and my husband told me as my oldest son was walking away from him toward our home he (my husband) saw a shadow that looked like a black cat walking toward my son and merging with my son. I was wondering if this had any significance. Also, my great great grandmother practiced voodoo and I believe my mother is dabbling in it-in a way. She's mentally ill but denies it, and she claims to have conversations with God. While I have a christian background and believe God talks to people, I don't believe He has daily conversations with everyone-especially conversations telling people bad things are going to happen to them. I'd appreciate any info you could give me, or the direction in which to pursue information. I also would like to know what I can do to protect myself and family if she does in fact practice. Thanks.

From the time I could remember I have been able to see these shadow creatures, they are generally cat shaped varying in size. I have seen birds and dogs from time to time but more often than not they were feline in nature. I am 32 years old and my husband says I'm crazy. I recently had my nephew staying with us for a month and one night one of these scampered up the hallway. I thought nothing of it since I still see them, not as often as I once did but they are about. My 15 year old nephew, on the other hand, got a look on his face and asked me if I had seen that. I told him that I had. He was shocked. Apparently he sees them all the time and his mother tells him he's crazy. Sometimes I will come through a room of the house and one will be laying on the floor or furniture and will dart away almost as soon as it is spotted. It happens so fast I often wonder if it was there at all. They will dart across the bar in the kitchen and drop to the floor before disappearing around a corner or fading in with the shadows. I have never been scared by them, though I have busted my ass a few times dodging them as they fly at me full speed, lol. It isn't just at my house I see them, often they are at the school I volunteer in or friends or relatives houses. Is it possible they follow me? Or maybe they exist everywhere and I'm just lucky enough to be able to spot them before they are gone?

Feel free to post this on your page or maybe you may have some insight for me on as to why this isn't a once or twice a life occurrence but rather an on going thing. It was comforting to know my nephew sees them too.

Shadow Cat with Picture: In Memory of Sophie

Hi. Sadly my cat Sophie died after an rta on 19th sept this year aged 2 - a brown beautiful tabby - despite surviving a couple of days her heart gave out just before she was due for surgery - her ashes came home a week later and her cat carrier was left in my conservatory for a couple of days as I couldn't bear to put it away - both my cats remaining slept in it at different times and this photo was taken with my cat Millie - she moved as I was taking the photo and it was this picture where the shadow cat was seen - looks a bit like my Sophie who died but I am not 100 per cent sure as could be just wishing it was ! I miss her sooo much.

anyway I have sent the picture to two different people and they can see a cat and one says it looks a bit like Sophie - here is the picture

Shadow Cats or Cat-like Shadows

Thank you for your good wishes - it is very raw at the moment but it helped by sending you the email and picture which you can use so others can perhaps be comforted - the shadow cat was in mid-air as I don't have a ledge and there is nothing behind in the garden to reflect apart from a garden swing against the house next door"s wall. It could be Sophie looking in on her little friend Millie.

This is a picture of Sophie who passed on - she had put on a bit of weight since this photo so was a bit wider than this but it does give you the basic shape which is quite like the shape of the shadow cat - thought you would like to see.

Peeking Feline

My (new) husband and I live in a small beach cottage, which we have been extensively renovating for the past decade. About 5 years ago, I started noticing an occasional small black shadow, like a cat, dashing across the hallway between the bathroom and bedroom doors. One morning, several months after my first sighting, hubby called to me from the bathroom (the door was open,) "Where's Jojo?" Jojo is our mostly white with black, spotted cat, who was asleep on the bed beside me. At that time we had only one cat. My hubby then revealed that he too had been seeing shadow kitties, as we call them. These sightings have continued to the present day.

The short hallway where we see it is well lit and painted pale green, with a cherry floor mostly covered by a green and cream runner. The shadow kitty is relatively easy to spot in spite of it's brief appearances. Sightings usually occur in daylight hours, generally in the morning. This morning, I got a good look at our little critter, and was completely unnerved.

The bathroom door was closed, and I had just gotten into the shower. I was standing with my back to the spray, enjoying the hot water on my shoulders, and had not yet wet my head or face. I saw a small dark shadow "peek" (like a cat, putting just it's head around while sitting on the tub edge) around the shower curtain at me, then it retreated. In this well lit, pale grey and white shower, it was in my view for at least a full second. It was pure black- no texture of fur, only a slight suggestion of ears, and no face whatsoever.

I'd always hoped to have a close look at this thing, and I don't think it means us any harm- in fact, until today, I'd felt rather comforted by the fact that we had a little spirit companion to share our happy home. Now however, more questions seem to have been raised than answered. Also, I'm having a hard time wrapping my mind around the fact that it had no (visible) face.

Shadow Bobcat

So, over the years I've come across things that seem to fit the bill of an "Shadow Animal." I never knew what they were before and I still know very little about any of this. I recently decided to share the story of the first time I ever saw a "Shadow Animal." If this helps you in anyway, please use it, Also, if you want to hear any of my other experiences, I'll be happy to share. I'd rather not be identified at all if you do share this though.

My First Encounter

Four to five years ago, I went on the morning paper route with my mom to help her out. Dad was sick at the time and Mom didn't want to have to do it alone.

I come from a very rural part of Virginia and for those that don't know, the paper route starts 1 to 2 in the morning. You get the bundles of papers, put them together, roll them up, and deliver them to the appropriate boxes. The route my parents had was around 170 customers and took roughly around five hours to complete. There was one primary road on this route. The rest were secondary roads, mostly dirt to be exact.

Now, about halfway through the route, I'm sitting in the passenger seat with a paper all rolled up and ready to go when I glance over and see this.. thing on the side of the road. It was about the size of a bobcat except it was solid black, blacker than any color of black I've ever seen before. The color almost seemed to swirl. We drive past it and I just get this fear deep in my bones. I couldn't move, I couldn't breathe from a moment and tears ran down my cheeks.

After a few minutes, I got myself under control and started thinking about it. Here it is early morning, it's dark, already somewhat spooky, and I'm tired. It had to be my imagination. I pretty much just put the incident in the back of my mind.

Half a hour or so later, on a completely different road, I swear to God I saw it again. This time it was closer to the road and less in the ditch and it was *looking right at me.* Again, I was paralyzed by pure fear. This thing I saw had no eyes, but you could tell there was an indentation where the eyes should've been. It had no ears, no face, no tail.

How did I know it was looking right at me? I'm not actually sure. I just had this primal feeling that it was. It was looking right in my eyes and it felt like it could see through me. I imagine I felt like a deer that knew a wolf was chasing it. I felt like prey.

After we'd passed it and I'd calmed myself down again, I told myself that maybe it was an opossum and my imagination had ran rampant.

Maybe another half hour had passed before I saw it once again. It was on the actual part of the road this time and it was oh so slowly beginning to stand up when we passed it. Something about the way it moved just made me think that this *thing* was in no way slow, I'd imagine it to be very, very quick and lethal if it chose to be. Once again, I was paralyzed by fear and this time, it actually felt like that thing was teasing me. Like it was amused by my fear.

At this point, Mom asked me what was wrong. I told her everything.

Her response was (summarized), "Oh, I was wondering why you were acting off. I didn't know you could see them. Some people are gifted to see things others cannot. You come from a long line of very spiritual women. Whenever you see creatures like that, just tell them no. Don't show any weakness. They'll want you. And don't think about them or talk about them, it will draw them near you. And don't let your dad know about this. Him and his family aren't like ours."

After that very short conversation, Mom refused to tell me anymore. I've tried multiple times to get more from her but she always changes the subject or simply tells me there's nothing more she can say.

At one point, I visited a Mormon Church for a while and met a very old-fashioned woman there. She believed in many superstitions for whatever reason and lived a very "natural" lifestyle. She and I became friends and I shared this experience with her. She told me that some things just can't be explained and that I would do well to just forget about it all and keep these things far from my mind.

I can't exactly forget about it and I can still remember the first time I saw a thing like that and I feel helpless. What it made me feel was worse than any feeling I could ever describe.

Shadow Cat

Hello fellow shadow folk! I reside in southern nj in a two story triplex home my room is on the second floor with a short hallway another bedroom adjacent and bathroom parallel. I've lived here for nearly five years. But just recently I've started seeing a shadowy cat like figure with glowing eyes curiously looking at me from the otherside of my bedroom door threshold. It will sit on right side of the doorway either staring or peeking around the corner at me. It stays there as long as I don't try to look directly at it. No matter how fast or slow I attempt direct eye contact. It dashes or hops to the left side of the of the doorway only to vanish into the wall. I have a cat of my own that's grey in color but is much to big to be my shadow plus I'd still be able to see her if she attempted the same as the left wall is almost directly intersecting my door frame. I feel no negativity from the shadow only curiosity and a hair raising sensation but no chills. I've seen it throughout the day and evening hours. Even when my door is closed I can see the shadow pacing the threshold as if guarding or anticipating the door opening due to the light in the hall and almost a half inch gap at the bottom of my door I know it's not mine because she is in the room at the time. Black Shadow Animal My Child Sees

My daughter is 11 and keeps telling me she is seeing black shadows in our kitchen that looks like a cat then she said her tablet pauses by itself my oldest daughter said she seen a black shadow go threw the wall know one in my house smokes it takes my breath away I smell cigarettes all the time I think its my mom of dad they smoked all the time my husband doesn't believe. It but he said he went to the bathroom and seen a black shadow in the kitchen I haven't. Been in my daughters room in 4 years if just feels off in there to me and I'm scared to go in there that's where she said a black shadow walked thru the wall and she keeps it dark in there.

Hello, my name is Graciee. I would love if you posted my encounter on your page! When I was quite little, (7-8) I saw shadow animals almost every night. The only animals I've ever seen, have been birds, bugs, and mice/rats. It started with the bugs, I'd be woken up covered in squirming bugs, and they'd only go away when I shut my eyes hard and said "go away, go away" in my mind. Now, the birds I saw looked about as big as hummingbirds, but they flew slowly. The birds would fly from the door and land on my arm on top of my blanket, and the second it touched my blanket, it died, and it would lay there dead until I blinked again and it'd be gone. The mice would be the same way, I'd wake up, and I'd welcome them, and then they'd run onto me, and they'd die, and the mice bodies would stay longer than the birds, but they'd eventually go away. I always felt good vibes from all animals except the bugs, they didn't give off any vibes. I started experiences when I moved in with my dad's friend's mother. That friend commuted suicide next-door, and since I lived there, I had dreams of just counting until I woke up and seeing shadow animals. I don't know if that had anything to do with it but I felt like it was worth including.Just in time for Halloween

Explanation and a Shadow Bobcat

My name is Tracee. I'm an animal communicator. Just this morning I walked out to our kitchen and saw movement at our back screen door. I looked out and saw a bob cat type shadow shape go past the door. No tail, no colour -- only black.

We also have a shadow spirit that lives in our house. He's the same black like a shadow, but dense darkness. My husband and I have both seen him many times.

From my work I believe the white shadow animals are spirits of our loved pets that have passed over, and other animals in spirit that have passed. Black shadow animals are something else. I would like to follow your page.

Subject: Shadow animals

I have been seeing this shadow animal on my front yard fence of the house I bought in July 2017 shortly adtee I moved in. Looks like a mountain Lion to me or a Panther. No cat around and I couldnt find the source if it were just an optical illision. Showed the picture to my wife and she thought I was crazy and most likely clouds and moonlight being i took the picture after midnight. The next night saw the exaxt same thing again and took another picture to show my wife it wasnt clouds and moonlight. Things just got more interesting after that.

The shadow has been there every night I came home from work (I work swing shift) and made me think surely there is something fixed casting this shadow that I just dont see. This week when I came home frome work I noticed it is no longer there making me think I had a nice long visit from the shadow animal

I googled panther and it represents leadership, strength and protectiveness. Making sense to me as I am a healthcare leader and feel very protective of my daughter and wife and even keep a weapon bedside in the case I need to protect them.
